At Aryssa's Campus

Alhamdulillah. The Parents~Teacher Meeting went well. Good performance report, good feedback from teachers.... I am a happy mom! Baba pula tak henti2 senyum...

As for Hadeef... he is now above expectation in all aspects and lots of improvement here & there. Tapi ada satu benda mmg betul2 payah.ngan mamat sorang ni... part malu... "painfully shy" kata cikgu dia. However, in the written report... both class teacher & principal siap comment ".... popular in school". Haha! Popular kat sekolah sebab pandai, baik hati, dgr cakap, cikgu & kengkawan suka... takpe. Jgn popular yg bukan2 sudah.

Dan Aryssa pula... mommy & baba yg terlebih risau kat dia. Padahal in class cikgu ckp dia stay focus & independent. Bukan apa... kdg kalau study at home, dreaming memanjang. Mungkin byk interuption kat umah... ngan tv la.. games la.. iPad la.. haaa  cam mana nk fokus?! Minah ni pun sama... cikgu ckp she is so popular in class n budak2 suka berkawan ngan dia. Syukur dia boleh cope the Year 2 n byk improvent juga. Baba dia lagi best... asked for more homework! Activities for the long summer holiday pun cikgu dah list down all the websites & programs. Jgn time cuti2 dok hooray hooray lalalala sudah laa...

Rasa syukur n lega sangat. Mak dia ni yang kengkadang terlebih risau. Takut budak2 ni tak dpt cope. Ye laaa... tempat baru, angin baru. Ambil masa nak sesuaikan. Tak ternilai bila tgk anak2 happy kat sekolah, ramai kawan, cikgu suka & dapat belajar dgn baik. Semoga berterusan hendaknya.

Balik dr sekolah... the kids nak ke BR. Tup tup Aryssa bought a BR birthday cake for me (mesti dok nagging Baba dia soh beli). Belated pun takpe la... ingatan tu yang penting :)

Every Friday, we're gonna receive an email from their Class Teacher. We just love it! We will be updated with their studies & activities for the whole coming week. The Communication Book really work as well.

Email from Aryssa's Class Teacher.....

Dear Parents,

The children had a lot of fun at the Zoo last week learning about animal habitats. Many thanks to those parents who joined us. We also had the Declamation Contest heats in class. All the children did really well reciting the poem by heart and developed their confidence in public speaking. The final will take place this Wednesday in the usual morning assembly. Our class will be represented by Jessie-Ellen Doherty.

In English

Phonics and spelling – words with ‘wh’ sound, e.g. whisper, why, whenever

Reading, writing, talking and listening – Linked to international author visit – Simon Murray

Continue to work with features of non-fiction text to source information, e.g. contents page, glossary and index, page headings and sub-headings, pictures, diagrams and captions.

In Maths

Consolidate work with 2, 5, 10 tables and problem solving within a context.

Doubling and halving numbers up to 20 and beyond for those who are ready to move on.

Unit 2 Block B

In IPC

Continue to learn about a range of habitats and environments.

Technology – design and make a miniature secret garden.

Geography – through map reading, learn the meaning of geographical terms, such as North, South, East, West, hill, lake, bridge, forest, etc.

Dugaan demi dugaan... kami tempuhi dgn penuh kesabaran. Apa yg penting.. sabar, redha, syukur & ikhtiar.

Alhamdulillah, semakin beransur pulih. Mohon pada Allah supaya Eicha & Dideep pulih sepenuhnya.

Berselera.. habis ayam 2 ketul, nasi separuh with sup & vege

Kena cucuk nak amik darah.. "Ala mi... tak sakit pun..."

Tapi kata jek nampak jari kena balut... "mi.. sakit la!"

Penangan ubat... petang tu jugak tido lena!
